We’re bringing the Caribbean to the heart of Victoria this winter! DWTN Winter Lime is transforming Ship Point into a cultural market which will take place on the Family Day holiday (Monday, February 17, 2025). This event is the perfect way to spend your time during Family Day! Bring your loved ones, enjoy a fun-filled day and immerse yourself in the warm culture of the Caribbean.

What’s a Lime?
In Trinidadian culture, “liming” means relaxing, socializing, and enjoying good company—and that’s exactly what DWTN Winter Lime is all about. This all-ages event invites families, friends, and individuals to come together, connect, and celebrate Caribbean culture in a cozy winter setting.

What to Expect?

 ✨ Caribbean Food: Get ready  for a taste of the Caribbean among other types of cultural foods.

 ✨ Market Vibes: Enjoy a variety of vendors featuring Caribbean and African-inspired goods, crafts, and services.

 ✨ Kid-Friendly Activities: A dedicated area for children with fun activities, games and more.

 ✨ Live Music and Dance: Live DJs will be spinning Caribbean music, including Soca and Calypso—alongside other popular Caribbean genres.

 ✨ Cozy Atmosphere: Stay cozy with outdoor heaters as you soak in the breathtaking waterfront views of Ship Point’s Inner Harbour.
