Hosted by I-Land Fest, this event promises to be a celebration of Trinidad and Tobago’s rich cultural tapestry, bringing communities together through food, music, and the spirit of unity.

2023 Carnival Culture Connection
Join us for the inaugural Carnival Culture Connection (CCC) on Saturday, February 18th, 2023, at Braefoot Park! This free, family-friendly event brings the vibrant energy of Trinidad & Tobago’s Carnival to Victoria. Enjoy a day filled with colourful Carnival costumes, Caribbean music like Soca, Calypso, and Dancehall, and delicious Trinidadian food.
The event will begin with a traditional land acknowledgment to honor the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations.
Whether you’re part of the Caribbean community or simply curious about this rich culture, CCC is a fun, inclusive celebration for all!
